Since we at Marine Charging Point Ltd started with the current business in 2017, our staff have carried out extensive fieldwork and engaged in dialogue with different stakeholders in the field. We value safety
On passenger ships, safety is key. At Marine Charging Point Ltd, we are also developing an integratable safety system which will alert the staff on board, if anything abnormal is detected in the BEVs or EVs parked on the car deck – an example of this would be a battery getting dangerously hot.
The aim of this safety system is to improve the fire safety of the entire ship and to reduce the risk of battery fires, as battery-run vehicles are a potential fire hazard onboard, which needs to be controlled.
